I am honored to have been given the TASBO Partnership program added to my scope of responsibilities at TASBO. I have been with TASBO 6 years overseeing the Membership Department and engagement endeavors and it feels natural to be able to help bridge the gap between the sponsorship program to our members and services.
Recently I stumbled across the quote: “The way to achieve your own success is to be willing to help somebody else get it first.” By Lyanla Vanzant. Immediately I began to think of you – the partners – who give of your time and resources to help our members (and non-members alike) become more capable and empowered school business officials. Which then, in turn, allows them to build up trust in you and ultimately use your resources when a need arises. It’s a delicate dance and you do it gracefully.
School Business Officials need champions to invest in them. Thank you for being their champions. I promise you I am invested in the success of all our members and want to hear from you how we can make this happen together. My door is always open and my ears always eager to listen. With the weight of the world on public education and the landscape changing quickly, its time to step back and see what the areas of opportunity are and what way can we move the needle forward.
I can’t wait to see what new heights we can reach together.
Thank you for being a TASBO sponsor.
